While our structures are engineered for easy DIY installation, local building codes vary depending on your location, structure size, and roof type (Polycarbonate Panels vs. Solar Panels).

- Size & Height Limits: Many regions allow small structures (under $10\text{m}^2$–$20\text{m}^2$) to be built without a permit under "Exempt" or "Permitted" development rules.
- Boundary Setbacks: Councils check how close your structure is to your neighbor's property line or public easements. Front-yard structures almost always require approval.
- Wind & Snow Loads: Your structure must withstand local weather extremes. Ready Canopy uses high-strength architectural aluminum alloy certified for heavy wind and snow loads.

These panels are well made and look fantastic on my garage wall. We wanted to dress up the patio area and hung them above our planter boxes. We have received lots of compliments. They arrived very quickly also!
We purchased these panels to place along a blank & boring brick garage wall that faces our backyard. We had searched a long time for an artistic solution to our unique situation and these panels are perfect! We added small lights behind the panels and the artwork is now the focal point of our yard at night.
These are perfect! We had a space to fill where a couple of trees died and needed privacy from the neighbors, these fit the space and look fabulous - now we are looking for other spaces to put items from this shop!
When ordering multiples to install together, know they are not 'square' and may be bent slightly. This was our experience installing 6 together.

The first set of panels arrived in excellent condition, exactly as described and were the perfect addition to my landscape project. I thought I ordered enough for the space but had to order three more panels to complete the project with no issues with delivery. All arrived quickly and safely. The privacy panels do not disappoint. They are beautiful actually. The stakes that they come with are not tall enough for our windy area but we will be making a modification so they are not as top heavy.
The panels are beautiful! They were easy to install and they look fantastic at night with a light behind them! I had to come back and buy 4 more to complete the look. We are so very pleased!
This product is really nice. There is only one caution I would give. Setup for each panel requires ability to get an 18 inch stake into the ground. If (like me) you want to place into a very rocky place it will require a high-power drill with concrete drill bit to make holes deep and strong enough to get the mounting stakes into. We finally did it and concreted the base in. I'll try to upload some pictures if Etsy will let me.
I have admired Phil's work for quite some time and then bought a large panel for my garden. After living with it for a few months, all I could imagine was replacing a 70' foot fence with 33 of his panels. They are going up right now and I cannot wait until they gain their full patina (I bought them raw so that I could have them welded to the fence posts). It's already beautiful!
The steel panels are GORGEOUS; heavyweight and welded impeccably! Very excited to install along my shared driveway for some much-needed (and exceptionally lovely) privacy! Packaged well with minimal waste and shipped extremely quickly. Thank you so much!!! 🌳💗🦋
